Dog training and behaviour support in Cardiff
Evidence-informed, welfare-focused support for dogs and their guardians
Support for puppies, adolescent and adult dogs, focused on understanding behaviour and building skills for everyday life.

Support at every stage of your dog’s life
Whether you’re preparing for life with a puppy, navigating adolescence, or supporting an adult dog, guidance is tailored to your dog and your life.

Living with a dog should feel supportive and enjoyable, but that isn’t always the reality. From the early days with a puppy, through adolescence and into adulthood, dogs are constantly learning and adapting to the world around them.

Dogs are sentient beings with their own emotions, needs and coping strategies. Behaviour doesn’t happen in isolation, it’s shaped by learning history, environment, health and the relationships they share with their guardians. That’s why a one-size-fits-all approach rarely helps in the long term.
My role is to support you in understanding the dog in front of you and to help you build practical skills that make everyday life feel calmer and more manageable. Support is always tailored, evidence-informed and focused on welfare, confidence and connection.

Whether you’re laying foundations with a puppy or looking for guidance with an adolescent or adult dog, I can help you make sense of what’s happening and what to do next.

About Me
Hello, I’m Nikki, a qualified dog trainer and behaviourist based in Cardiff. I work with dogs using evidence-informed, welfare-focused approaches that prioritise emotional safety and learning. Behaviour is shaped by many factors, including environment, health and experience, so support is always tailored to the individual dog and their guardian.

I’ve spent over seven years working with dogs through professional dog walking, which has given me extensive experience observing behaviour in real-life contexts and continues to inform my training and behaviour work.

Support is collaborative and tailored, with a focus on progress that feels manageable for both you and your dog.
